We would like to express our sincere sympathy to all those who have been affected by the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and to those who are living in difficult circumstances due to the spread of the infection.

In response to the re-declaration of a state of emergency on January 7, 2021, we have implemented measures to ensure the health of our employees and business partners and to prevent the spread of the disease.

(1) Thorough implementation of telecommuting
①Telecommuting
At our domestic bases in Japan (Head Office: Naka-ku, Yokohama City; Yokohama Research & Development Center: Isogo-ku, Yokohama City; Yokosuka Media Labo: Yokosuka City), we have established a telecommuting policy.
In principle, 70% of employees who are able to work from home due to the nature of their work will work from home.
②Employees except the above locations
For employees who cannot telecommute due to the nature of their work, we will apply staggered work hours and take other thorough infection prevention measures based on internal guidelines, and we are working on a system that will not interfere with the functions of the head office, research and development department, and production department.
Our overseas subsidiaries also comply with measures to prevent infectious diseases based on the instructions of their own governments.

We are working to reduce the risk of infection among our employees and to maintain our business activities.
We will continue to place the highest priority on the safety of our employees and business partners, and will determine and implement response policies in a timely manner based on government policies and action plans.
