This is to announce impacts on Yamashin Group from spread of the Wuhan coronavirus infections in Wuhan, Hubei, China.

 Currently on the Chinese New Year holidays, Chinese government announced the extension of the holidays until February 2nd, responding to spread of the Wuhan coronavirus infections. The two Yamashin Group companies in China were notified that the one in Suzhou should suspend the operation until February 8th, and the other in Shanghai until February 9th.


1.Impact on Yamashin Group employees

 Yamashin Group has distribution and R&D locations in Shanghai and Suzhou. Up to now, we have not confirmed any Wuhan coronavirus infections among the employees. The two locations operate (or suspend operations) in accordance with the Chinese government announcements and notifications.

 

2.Impact on Yamashin Group operations

 The Yamashin Group locations are in normal operation except for the two locations in China. 
 We are currently contacting our customers who have locations in China for their status of operations in China. We are also investigating any impacts on our productions and supply chains.
 Moreover, our consignment production company in China, which is currently on the New Year holidays, plans to resume its production in compliance with Chinese government announcements and notifications.

 

3.Impacts on Yamashin Group’s financial results

 Currently we are investigating impacts on Yamashin Group’s financial results from the Wuhan coronavirus. We will announce any significant financial impacts once we confirm there is any.
